Meet the owner
Jamie Maliszewski is a second generation craftsman at London Joiners. His love of fine arts was instilled from his father. He became the sole owner and operator of London Joiners in 2017. A master of his craft, Jamie has over 25 years of experience in restoration, french polishing, custom furniture, veneer and gold leaf restoration. Jamie lives in Connecticut with his wife, two boys and German Shepherd, Koa. The Maliszewski’s love spending time outdoors and traveling to New Zealand to visit family.
Founder, Willy Godziemba Maliszewski was classically trained in Europe as a Maître Ébéniste. He’s recognized for creating accurate replications using old and rare wood, as well as for new designs using historic methods. Check out his NPR interview below.
