| Fig 3. A quadrant column made for a missing section of an English mahogany long case clock. The piece was made by joining four rectangular shapes of old Cuban Mahogany with paper and fragile glue between sections, then turning on a lathe. After finishing and patination work the piece was tapped apart and the result perfectly matched the surviving quadrant of the clock bonnet. | |||
